Amazing Pet Expos accused of breach of contract

Contract 08

HOUSTON — Two Texas companies company and three individuals are suing AE Group LLC d/b/a Amazing Pet Expos for alleged breach of contract.

Bermicilia Ruiz-Roldan, Melanie Roldan, Cynthia Roldan, Yuppie Dog LLC and Tinaquero, LLC filed a complaint on March 30 in the Harris Circuit Court, alleging that the defendant refused to give them a refund.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they were financially damaged and suffered damages to their reputation.

The plaintiffs allege that the defendant cancelled a show that Yuppie Dog had booked. Instead of issuing a refund, the defendant allegedly offered a credit for a future show, which the plaintiffs claim was improper. In May 2015, Cynthia Roldan allegedly used the credit to book booths at three additional credits. However, Yuppie Dog had to cancel one of the shows 88 days in advance. The plaintiffs then requested a refund, alleging that the credit was improper to begin with. The defendant reportedly refused to issue a refund.

The plaintiffs hold the defendant responsible for allegedly issuing false and misleading statements about its transaction with the plaintiffs. The plaintiffs seek damages and attorney fees. They are represented by Robert A. Kouts of Robert A. Kouts in Pearland.
