HOUSTON — A Sabine County woman is suing a podiatrist, alleging his gross negligence caused injuries.
Kendall Griffin filed a complaint May 30 in Harris County District Court against Dr. Michael Frazier, alleging he failed to properly diagnose the nature and extent of plaintiff's injury.
According to the complaint, as a result of Frazier's negligence, Griffin incurred permanent disfigurement and disability. She said she will continue to suffer pain and suffering, mental anguish, lost earnings and medical expenses due to injuries to her foot and ankle caused by Frazier during surgery Sept, 22, 2016.
The plaintiff alleges Frazier negligently went beyond the parameters he had discussed with Frazier and negligently drilled holes into the bones of her foot and ankle and inserted plates and screws.
Griffin seeks trial by jury, actual and punitive damages, costs of court, attorney fees, interest and all other equitable relief. She is represented by attorneys Jan Woodward Fox and Cameron Weir of Jan Woodward Fox PLC in Houston, and by Mark A. Weycer of The Weycer Law Firm PC in Bellaire.
