HOUSTON — A pest control business is suing competitors, citing alleged breach of covenant of not to complete.
Northwest Pest Control Inc. filed a complaint in the Harris County District Court against Roosevelt Ballard, Corey J. Williams and All N-1 Pest Control Management LLC alleging that they tortiously interfered with the plaintiff's existing contracts.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it has suffered irreparable injury for loss of sales and profit and a damaged business reputation and goodwill.
The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because the plaintiff's former employees, Ballard and Williams, allegedly misappropriated and used the plaintiff's confidential and proprietary information to establish a new company to compete with plaintiff's business.
The plaintiff seeks monetary relief between $100,000 and $500,000 and other general and equitable relief. It is represented by John Ethan Currier of Currier & Martin PLLC in Houston.
