Patient accuses health care providers of medical negligence

HOUSTON — A California patient is suing Clear Lake health care providers, alleging a negligent medical assessment.

Landon Blair filed a complaint June 6 in the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas against Dr. James Jackson, Emricare, Patrick Acosta, Clear Lake MRI Center, Clear Lake Regional Medical Center, et al, alleging they failed to properly and competently assess, diagnose and treat the plaintiff's medical conditions.

According to the complaint, as a result of the defendants' misdiagnosis, Blair has suffered permanent injuries and damages that will continue the remainder of his life. 

The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to to diagnose his testicular cancer and failed to provide adequate and/or timely treatment for his medical conditions.

Blair seeks trial by jury, actual damages with interest, costs of suit and all other just relief. He is represented by attorneys Robert L. Chaiken and Carrie P. Kitner of Chaiken & Chaiken PC in Plano.
