Customer blames food market for injuries

HOUSTON — A customer is suing property owners of a Randall's supermarket, alleging negligence led to injuries for the plaintiff. 

Tiffany Gray filed a complaint June 13 in Harris County District Court against Brixmor Property Group Inc., Bohica Properties LLC, Randall's Store No. 1022, Galileo Apollo II TX LP, et al, alleging they failed to properly maintain a safe premises.

According to the complaint, on Sept. 26, 2015, while shopping at a Randall's in Stafford, Texas, Gray was seriously injured on the property owned, operated, leased and controlled by defendants when she slipped and fell due to water on the floor. 

Gray says her injuries required, therapy, diagnostic testing and knee surgery. The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to inspect and remedy the dangerous condition and failed to warn the public of the existence of such a dangerous condition.

Gray seeks trial by jury, monetary between $200,000 and $1 million and all other just relief. She is represented by attorney Carlos Hughes Jr. of The Hughes Law Firm in Houston.
