Trucking company alleges chemical business violated contract

Contract 06

GALVESTON — A Texas trucking company is suing a chemical business, alleging breach of contract.

Penn Transport LLC filed a complaint June 28 in Galveston County District Court against CSquared Chemicals Inc., doing business as C2 Chemical, alleging the defendant refused to satisfy its financial obligations under the contract in failing to pay more than $95,000.

According to the complaint, Penn Transport provided transportation services to C2 Chemical. After all just and lawful payments, offsets and credits, the suit says, a balance of $95,927.50, remains due and owing. The plaintiff alleges C2 Chemical has failed to make payments on the balance due.

Penn Transport seeks trial by jury, monetary relief between $100,000 and $200,000 and such other just relief. He is represented by attorney Mark Stromberg of Stromberg Stock PLLC in Dallas.
