HOUSTON – A The Woodlands software products and processes provider is alleged to have failed to pay a former software trainer overtime pay.

Taylor Justice filed a complaint on July 11 in the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas against Intellicure Inc. alleging that the former employer violated the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that between January and May, she regularly worked in excess of 40 hours per week without receiving proper overtime wages. She alleges instead of receiving overtime pay, she was offered "comp time."

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks actual overtime compensation, plus interest, liquidated damages, attorneys’ fees and costs and such other and further relief. She is represented by Jakki A. Hansen of The Hansen Law Firm PC in Houston.
