Woman alleges injuries after fall at Downtown Aquarium-Houston

Slip01

HOUSTON – A Harris County woman alleges she fell at a Houston establishment because of liquid on the floor.

Sally Haddock filed a complaint on July 31 in Harris County District Court against Landry's Inc., doing business as Downtown Aquarium-Houston, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 16, 2016, she was an invitee at defendant's premises and was walking to the restroom when she slipped and fell on a liquid substance on the floor. She alleges she sustained injuries to her neck, right shoulder and other parts of her body.

The plaintiff holds Landry's Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to inspect and clean the premises and failed to warn its invitees of the existence of the dangerous condition.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of more than $100,000 but not more than $200,000 and such other and further relief. She is represented by Wes Klinger Jr. of Wes Klinger Law Office PLLC in Beach City.
