All Tex Staffing & Personnel Inc. alleges former employee violated confidentiality agreement

Contract 02

HOUSTON – A Harris County staffing company alleges that a former employee is unlawfully using trade secrets to compete with it.

All Tex Staffing & Personnel Inc. filed a complaint on Aug. 5 in the Harris County District Court against Vanessa Villareal alleging that the former employee violated the Uniform Trade Practices Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that the defendant signed a confidentiality agreement in May 2015 when she was a recruiter and salesperson for the plaintiff. The suit states she left the company in June 2016. The plaintiff alleges the defendant is now an agent of Momentum Staffing Solutions and has been soliciting customers in violation of the agreement.

The plaintiff holds Villareal responsible because the defendant allegedly used plaintiff's confidential, proprietary information and trade secrets.

The plaintiff seeks an injunction order for defendant to cease and desist from using or disclosing plaintiff's proprietary and confidential information and trade secrets, monetary relief of more than $200,000 but not more than $1 million and such other lawful and equitable relief. It is represented by Ciano Pasta of Ciano Pasta Attorney at Law in Houston.
