GALVESTON – A Harris County man alleges that he was injured while traveling in a boat in Galveston Bay.

Michael Sanders filed a complaint on Aug. 8 in the Galveston County District Court against T&T Marine Services LLC alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Feb. 17, he was a passenger in a boat owned and operated by the defendant. He alleges the boat's driver failed to slow down when the boat entered rough waters, causing the plaintiff to violently thrown to the boat's ceiling and land on the floor.

The plaintiff holds T&T Marine Services LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly entrusted a boat to an incompetent driver.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of more than $200,000 but not more than $1 million and such other and further relief to which he may show himself justly entitled. He is represented by Kiernan McAlpine and Robert Morse of Daspit Law Firm in Houston.
