HOUSTON – A Houston man alleges a debt collector harassed him with phone calls.

Daniel Jacobson filed a complaint on Aug. 10 in the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas against ABC Bail Bonds Co. alleging that the debt collector violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

According to the complaint, the defendant called the plaintiff with the use of an automatic telephone dialing system and pre-recorded message. The plaintiff claims he told the defendant to stop all calls on Feb. 15, but the calls continued.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks statutory and treble damages and all further relief as the court deems just and proper. He is represented by Jenny DeFrancisco of Lemberg Law LLC in Wilton, Connecticut.
