Fry’s Electronics customer alleges state of floor caused her to fall

Slip02

GALVESTON – A Harris County woman alleges she was injured because of liquid left on the floor of a Houston electronics store.

Christina Brown filed a complaint on Aug. 10 in the Galveston County District Court against Fry’s Electronics alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Sept. 18, 2015, she sustained severe and permanent injuries when she slipped and fell on a liquid substance as she approached the register area in the defendant's store. She alleges she has suffered physical pain, mental anguish, loss of earnings and medical expenses.

The plaintiff holds Fry’s Electronics responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to inspect the premises where the dangerous condition existed and failed to remedy the same.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of more than $200,000 but less than $1,000,000 and all further relief to which she is justly entitled. She is represented by M. Paul Skrabanek and Andres L. Rejas of Pierce Skrabanek PLLC in Houston.
