GALVESTON – A Galveston County bank alleges a business in the county defaulted on a loan.
Moody National Bank filed a complaint on Aug. 23 in the Galveston County District Court against Ocean Grille LLC, doing business as Ocean Grille and Beach Bar, and Randall Pettit alleging breach of contract.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it loaned money to defendant Ocean Grille in the principal amount of $250,000. To date, said amount plus incurring interest of 18 percent allegedly remains unpaid.
The plaintiff seeks damages, pre- and post-judgment interest and further relief to which it is entitled in law and equity. It is represented by Andres “Andy” Soto and Matthew “Gus” Knebel of Mills Shirley LLP in Galveston.
