Motorist seeks at least $100,000 after Interstate 10 accident in Beaumont

BEAUMONT – A Baytown woman is seeking damages after a collision on Interstate 10 with a Vidor resident.

Dorothy Terry filed a complaint on Aug. 18 in the Jefferson County District Court against Marie Fitzgerald alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on May 15, 2016, she sustained legal injuries and damages when defendant struck the rear of the motor vehicle she was operating in the 800 block of I-10 in Beaumont. She alleges she has suffered physical pain, mental anguish, lost wages and medical expenses. 

The plaintiff seeks compensation of at least $100,000, plus interest and all other general, special and equitable relief. She is represented by Craig Muessig of Law Offices of Craig Muessig in Baytown.
