HOUSTON – A Houston couple alleges they were not compensated for the sale of trucks.
Jose Romero and Maria Del Carmen Romero filed a complaint on Aug. 26 in the Harris County District Court against GNRK Export Truck & Equipment Sales LTD, Zion Truck & Equipment Repair LLC, et al. alleging breach of contract.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs agreed in January 2015 for the defendants to sell two of their trucks. The suit states the plaintiffs refused to turn over the titles until the defendants paid the $12,000 agreed upon, and the defendants issued a check in that amount. The plaintiffs allege they have not been able to cash the check because of insufficient funds.
The plaintiffs holds GNRK Export Truck & Equipment Sales LTD, Zion Truck & Equipment Repair LLC and others responsible because the defendants allegedly took possession of plaintiffs' trucks without paying it and refused to return the same.
The plaintiffs seek monetary relief of $100,000 or less and such other and further relief to which they may be entitled. They are represented by Gogo U.K. Owor of Gogo U.K. Owor & Associates in Houston.
