DALLAS – For four consecutive years, three Barron and Budd attorneys have been named to the Best Lawyers in America.
This year is no different. Between Russell Budd, Scott Summy and Roland Tellis, the trio at the national law firm walked away once again unsurpassed for the 2018 year.
“The Best Lawyers in America list can be counted on to showcase the best and brightest attorneys in the United States,” said Russell Budd, firm president and managing shareholder in a press release.
And if that wasn’t enough for the nationally recognized firm to collect, Louisiana-based shareholder and attorney Burton LeBlanc, who was listed in the 71st edition of the Albert Nelson Marquis Who’s Who in American Law earlier this year, also received the lifetime achievement award in the name of the early-19th century Chicago publisher.
Marquis was the first too list elite professionals in a publication. According to Marquis Who’s Who, “Each year, we strive to continue the tradition established by our founder, Albert Nelson Marquis, over 117 years ago with the first publication of Who’s Who in America.”
“I’m honored to be recognized on this prestigious list, along with some of the nation’s leading legal professionals,” said LeBlanc in press release, which further noted the strict selection process by the Marquis Research Committee.
“After a private nomination process, Marquis Who’s Who determines which individuals to profile based on factors such as the individual’s position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in their field,” according to the press release.
Baron & Budd did not respond to request for comment regarding the recent accolades awarded to the law firm associates. The firm has also been named to The National Law Journal Plaintiffs Hot List eight times.
“I’m incredibly proud of our team’s accomplishments, and it’s very reinforcing to know that this team’s expertise was once again recognized by our peers,” Budd said in a release.
