Siblings seek judgment in dispute over possible sale of mother's Houston home

Law money 03

HOUSTON – Two Harris County sisters have filed a suit against their Brazoria County brother over the proceeds of their mother's house if it is sold.

Patricia J. Gorski and Mary Ann Williamson filed a complaint on Sept. 7 in the Harris County District Court against Herman Jadloski alleging conversion and breach of fiduciary duty.

According to the complaint, Williamson and the defendant were independent co-executors for their mother's estate. The suit states that their mother's will stated that the proceeds from the sale of her Houston home should be equally distributed among her five children.

The plaintiffs hold Jadloski responsible because the defendant allegedly intends to sell the disputed property and keep the proceeds for himself.

The plaintiffs seek judgment for the value of the property allocable to each of them, plus interest, attorney's fees, costs and any further relief to which they are entitled to receive. They are represented by Charles Wist of Wist Holland & Kehlhof in Houston.
