Anderson Pfeiffer PC alleges client failed to pay fees

Contract 07

GALVESTON – A Dickinson law firm alleges that a Pearland individual failed to pay for services provided.

Anderson Pfeiffer PC filed a complaint on Sept. 11 in the Galveston County District Court against Ryan Chuston alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it provided legal guidance and services in regard to the corporate and estate planning matters to the defendant in 2015. It alleges it has suffered economic damages of $3,420.48 for not receiving its fees and reimbursement of expenses in its representation as defendant's legal counsel.

The plaintiff holds Chuston responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to reimburse plaintiff’s expenses incurred in providing legal services to defendant.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of $50,000 or less, penalties, costs, expenses, prejudgment interest, attorney fees and all other lawful or equitable relief. It is represented by Robert Teir of Robert Teir PLLC in Dickinson.
