Slip02

GALVESTON – A Galveston County woman alleges that she sustained injuries in a fall caused by cheese on the floor.

Wanda McDaniel filed a complaint on Sept. 11 in the Galveston County District Court against Moody Gardens Inc. alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 8, she was seriously and permanently injured when she slipped on liquid cheese and fell violently onto the floor while at the defendant's premises. She alleges she has suffered pain and suffering, loss of earnings, mental anguish and medical care and expenses.

The plaintiff holds Moody Gardens Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to maintain the walkways clear of any hazardous obstacles and debris and failed to warn guests of the unsafe condition.

The plaintiff seeks monetary of more than $100,000 but less than $200,000 and such other and further relief to which she may be entitled. She is represented by Ty A. Gibson and Brett M. Hill of Gibson Hill PC in Houston.
