John Moore LP alleges couple owes more than $6,000 for HVAC, sewer work

GALVESTON – An HVAC and sewer contractor alleges a Dickinson couple failed to pay for work provided.

John Moore LP filed a complaint on Sept. 12 in the Galveston County District Court against John Bachelder and Jeanine Y. Bachelder alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff was contracted by the defendants in October 2016 for HVAC and sewer services. The plaintiff alleges it provided labor and materials necessary for HVAC installation and sewer services to improve defendants' real property. Despite demands for payments, the amount of $6,329.85 allegedly remains due and unpaid. 

The plaintiff holds John Bachelder and Jeanine Y. Bachelder responsible because the defendants allegedly failed and refused make payments for the materials, labor and services provided by plaintiff.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendants in the amount of $6,329.85, pre- and post-judgment interest, foreclosure of the lien against the real property, attorney's fees, costs and such other and further relief.
