GALVESTON – A Galveston County man is alleged to have failed to pay for a Santa Fe mobile storage unit.
Mobile Mini Inc. filed a complaint on Oct. 5 in the Galveston County District Court against Rick Sonneburgh alleging breach of contract and other counts.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 18, 2009, defendant rented a premium mobile container from plaintiff. Beginning on April 14, 2016, the plaintiff alleges it stopped receiving rent payments from defendant and as of July 7, 2017, the unpaid rent and other charges for the unit totaled $3,000.22.
The plaintiff holds Sonneburgh responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to make the required monthly payments for plaintiff's mobile container unit and wrongfully retained possession of the same at a cost of $6,500.
The plaintiff seeks damages in the amount of $9,500.22, an order permitting it to take immediate possession of the mobile unit, pre- and post-judgment interest, attorney’s fees, costs and all further relief to which it may be justly entitled. It is represented by M. H. Cersonsky of Cersonsky, Rosen & Garcia PC in Houston.
