HOUSTON – A Harris County woman alleges that she was injured after she slipped on a wet rug while shopping.
Lydia Zepeda-Molano filed a complaint on Oct. 6 in the Harris County District Court against Reddy Ice Corp. alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on May 18, she was injured while shopping at Joe V's Smartshop premises when a wet rug caused her to slip and fell. She alleges the defendant's employee knew of the condition and did not correct or warn plaintiff of it.
The plaintiff seeks damages in an amount of less than $100,000 and such other and further relief. She is represented by Donald G. DeSimone of DeSimone Law Office in Houston.
