HOUSTON – A Houston company is alleged to have failed to provide a safe working environment.

Judith Lopez filed a complaint on Oct. 30 in the Harris County District Court against R&L Solutions alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Sept. 7, she was injured while working for defendant when she fell over a plank that had been left out by another worker.

The plaintiff holds R&L Solutions responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to provide adequate training and supervision to workers and failed to properly inspect the work area.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of more than $200,000 but not more than $1 million. She is represented by Sofia E. Bruera of Bruera Law Firm PLLC in Houston.
