HOUSTON – A licensed pharmacist alleges he was wrongfully terminated by his pharmacy employer while out on leave to care for a family member.

Aron Beraki filed a complaint on Nov. 29 in the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas against CVS Rx Services Inc. alleging violation the Family and Medical Leave Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 11, 2016, he was terminated from his employment as a pharmacy manager with the defendant while he was on FMLA leave to care for his daughter.

The plaintiff holds CVS Rx Services Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly terminated him while on leave under the FMLA and failed to restore him to his position or an equivalent position upon his return from leave.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendant and for any other appropriate relief. He is represented by Robert E. Goodman Jr. of Kilgore & Kilgore PLLC in Dallas.
