HOUSTON – A construction worker alleges a Houston company's failure to safely deliver a product caused him to injure his leg.

Bacious Marquis Milhouse filed a complaint on Nov. 30, 2017, in the Harris County District Court against AC Plumbing Supply Inc. and John Doe alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Oct. 5, 2017, he was employed as a construction worker at a site in Katy. He alleges his left leg was injured when defendant's commercial water heater fell onto him after defendant's truck driver let go of the water heater when he could no longer hold on to it.

The plaintiff alleges he has suffered pain and suffering, mental anguish, medical expenses and lost wages.

The plaintiff holds AC Plumbing Supply Inc. and John Doe responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to promulgate safety policies to prevent injuries and failed to safely deliver the product.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of more than $1 million and such other relief to which he may show himself to be justly entitled. He is represented by J. Javier Gutierrez of The Gutierrez Law Firm Inc. in Houston and Juan P. Reyna of Reyna Injury Lawyers PC in Corpus Christi.
