Note holder alleges Zentech Inc. defaulted on notes

HOUSTON – A Houston individual seeks payment of two promissory notes that have allegedly gone into default.

S. Rao Guntur filed a complaint on Dec. 1, 2017, in the Harris County District Court against Zentech Inc. and Ramesh Maini alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in 2008 and 2009, defendants executed the notes and signed both of the notes as borrowers. As of Nov. 9, 2017, the total indebtedness of $778,851.85 plus accrued interest of $93,080.81 allegedly remains due and payable. 

The plaintiff holds Zentech Inc. and Maini responsible despite lawful demands for payment, defendants allegedly failed and refused to pay the notes.

The plaintiff seeks monetary relief of more than $200,000 but not more than $1 million and such other just and proper relief. The plaintiff is represented by Daniel C. Pappas in Houston.
