Woman alleges uneven sidewalk caused fall at Enterprise Rent-A-Car Co.

HOUSTON – A Harris County woman alleges that she was injured at a Houston business because of the state of the sidewalk.

Lydia Flores filed a complaint on Dec. 22, 2017, in the Harris County District Court against Ean Holdings LLC, doing business as Enterprise Rent-A-Car Co., alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Aug. 30, 2016, she was walking into the entrance area at defendant's building when she tripped and fell on a very uneven and poorly marked concrete sidewalk. She alleges she sustained serious personal injuries that resulted in pain and suffering, mental anguish, medical expenses and lost wages.

The plaintiff holds Ean Holdings LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to maintain the entrance area in good repair and failed to place warning signs around the dangerous area.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of more than $100,000 but less than $200,000 and such other lawful and equitable relief. She is represented by Loren G. Klitsas and Jared W. Capps of Klitsas & Vercher PC in Houston.
