SHERMAN – A Plano man alleges that a California company is unlawfully calling him.

Michael Bradshaw filed a complaint on Dec. 28, 2017, in the Sherman Division of the Eastern District of Texas against Westlake Financial alleging that the California business entity violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that the defendant began calling him using an automatic telephone dialing system and that he asked the calls to stop in September and October 2017.

The plaintiff holds Westlake Financial responsible because the defendant allegedly continued to ignore his requests to stop calling him and called him without his consent.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks statutory damages of $500 for each violation and treble damages for each willful violation of the TCPA and such other just and proper relief. He is represented by Jenny DeFrancisco of Lemberg Law LLC in Wilton, Connecticut.
