HOUSTON – A Harris County area dentist alleges incompetent movers damaged medical equipment during a move.

Dr. Rodrigo Cabrera DDS filed a complaint on Jan. 3 in the Harris County District Court against All My Sons Moving & Storage of Houston Inc., All My Sons Moving & Storage of Houston LLC and Rob Luke alleging negligence, fraud and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 14, 2016, defendant's employees were moving the plaintiff's dental equipment to a different office when the movers dropped the Panoramic X-ray machine, breaking it and rendering it unusable for its intended use.

The plaintiff holds All My Sons Moving & Storage of Houston Inc. and Luke responsible because the defendants allegedly breached their duty to exercise reasonable care in handling and moving plaintiff's dental equipment by negligently hiring incompetent and reckless movers.

The plaintiff seeks monetary relief of more than $200,000 but not more than $1 million and such other general and special relief. He is represented by Richard Paxton of Paxton Law Firm in Houston.
