PPS DATA, LLC V. JACK HENRY & ASSOCIATES, INC. 2:18-cv-00007-JRG          

The plaintiff PPS Data claims ownership of United States Patent Numbers 7,181,430; 7,216,106; 7,440,924; 7,624,071; and 8,660,956.

Recent court documents show that the subject patents bear the title, “Method and System for Processing Financial Instrument Deposits Physically Remote from a Financial Institution.”

Alleging the patents were infringed upon, the complainant seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

OPTIMIZE TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS, LLC V TAPESTRY, INC. 2:18-cv-00010-JRG

Dallas-based Optimize is the plaintiff.

It has pursued legal action in response to alleged infringement of U.S. Patent No. 6,330,592.

Per recent court papers, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office issued the ‘592 patent on Dec. 11, 2001.

“The ʼ592 patent is directed to systems and methods for delivering “precustomized” web content to computer users “without requiring dynamic page generation for each individual visitor,” they explain.

Optimize seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.
