HOUSTON – A patient at a Houston hospital alleges his car's ignition switch was damaged by an employee in charge of valet parking.

Timothy Lee Williams filed a complaint on Jan. 8 in the Harris County District Court against United American Security LLC and Houston Northwest Medical Center Hospital Auxiliary Inc. alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Dec. 20, 2017, he was a patient at defendant hospital when he entrusted his vehicle to defendant United American Security's employee for valet parking. As a result of defendant United American Security's employee's alleged negligence, the ignition key to his vehicle was damaged.

The plaintiff holds United American Security LLC and Houston Northwest Medical Center Hospital Auxiliary Inc. responsible because the defendants allegedly refused to assume responsibility for the damages and failed to pay the repairs to his vehicle.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages in an amount submitted to defendants, attorney's fees, costs, pre- and post-judgment interest and such other lawful and equitable relief. He is representing himself.
