HOUSTON – A Harris County man alleges he was injured by two dogs at a business.

Michael Patrick Owen filed a complaint on Jan. 10 in the Harris County District Court against Industrial Maintenance Equipment, doing business as IME Auto & Truck Parts, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Feb. 16, 2017, he was upon defendant's premises for the purpose of business when he was attacked by two dogs. He alleges he sustained serious injuries and damages that resulted in pain and suffering, mental anguish, medical expenses and lost wages.

The plaintiff holds Industrial Maintenance Equipment responsible because the defendant allegedly knew of the dogs' dangerous propensities and failed to inform the plaintiff of the dangerous condition.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks actual and exemplary damages, pre- and post-judgment interest, court costs and all other relief to which he is entitled. He is represented by Chad Pinkerton and Benjamin R. Roberts of The Pinkerton Law Firm PLLC in Houston.
