Former Worldpay US Inc. employee alleges he is owed residual payments

Contract 10

HOUSTON – A Spring man alleges his former employer owes him compensation.

Scott Griffin filed a complaint on Jan. 30 in the Harris Circuit Court against Worldpay US Inc. alleging breach of contract and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff began working for Century Payments Inc. in August 2008, which was acquired by the defendant in September 2013. The suit states the plaintiff left the defendant's company in August 2017.

The plaintiff holds Worldpay US Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay the plaintiff for his outstanding residuals despite his demands.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks actual damages, consequential damages, out-of-pocket expenses, interest, court costs and any further relief the court grants. He is represented by David Gregory and Jaime F. Cespedes of Locke Lord LLP in Houston.
