HOUSTON – A Harris County woman alleges she was injured at a Houston restaurant when a bench fell on her hand.
Lucila Molina filed a complaint on Jan. 31 in the Harris County District Court against 100% Taquito Co. alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on April 6, 2016, she was injured at defendant's 100% Taquito premises when the top of a concrete bench fell on her hand. She alleges she sustained serious and permanent injuries that caused her to experience chronic pain, anxiety and discomfort.
The plaintiff holds 100% Taquito Co. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to inspect the premises and discover the dangerous condition and failed provide warnings and/or notices of the known hazards.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of more than $100,000 but not more than $200,000, pre- and post-judgment interest, costs and such other lawful and equitable relief. She is represented by Loren G. Klitsas and Jared W. Capps of Klitsas & Vercher PC in Houston.
