Housekeeper slips in bath tub slicked with olive oil, files lawsuit

Slip01

HOUSTON – A housekeeper has brought a personal injury lawsuit against Houston couple, claiming she experienced a slip and fall while cleaning their bathtub.

In her suit against Lancelot and Karen Olinde, Salem, Ore., resident Rosa Carino says she slipped on some olive oil in the tub on Apr. 27, 2016.

She learned later than one of the residents uses olive oil to bathe.

Court papers fault the Olindes for not informing her about the state of the tub.

Carino’s employer, King of Maids, LLC, is listed as a co-defendant in the litigation.

Consequently, the plaintiff seeks unspecified monetary damages.

She is represented by Don Thomas, II and Adam Ramji of the Ramji Law Group in Houston.
