Contractor alleges he is still owed $4,400 for work at Dickinson property

Contract 06

GALVESTON – A contractor alleges he was not paid in full for cabinetry work at a Dickinson property.

Johnny Jackson, doing business as Live Oak Carpentry, filed a complaint on Feb. 13 in the Galveston County District Court against Brenda Biondo alleging breach of contract and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that the plaintiff provided labor and materials for the installation of kitchen and bathroom cabinets at defendant's property in Dickinson for a total amount of $8,400. After the initial payment of $4,000 and the completion of the contract on Dec. 22, 2017, the amount of $4,400 allegedly remains unpaid.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks actual damages of $4,400, pre- and post-judgment interest, attorney’s fees and costs of court and such other general and special relief. He is represented by Andrew Bayley of Bayley Law Firm in Houston.
