Endo Corp. invitee alleges wet restroom floor caused fall

Slip01

HOUSTON – A woman alleges she was injured at a Houston location because of a wet floor.

Martine Moliere filed a complaint on Feb. 15 in the Harris County District Court against Endo Corp. alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 7, 2017, she was an invitee at defendant's premises located at 9400 Westheimer Road in Houston and slipped and fell on the restroom's wet floor.

She alleges she suffered injuries and damages that resulted in pain and suffering, loss of earnings, disfigurement and medical expenses as a result of the fall.

The plaintiff holds Endo Corp. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to make the condition safe and failed to provide adequate warning or notice of the unsafe or dangerous condition.

The plaintiff seeks monetary relief of up to $100,000, and all other legal and equitable relief. She is represented by James R. Edwards, Jeffrey R. McCarthy and Michael Takla of McCarthy & Edwards PLLC in Houston.
