Houston airport to blame for woman's slip and fall, court documents say

Slip01

HOUSTON – A Texas woman has filed a lawsuit over an alleged slip and fall at one of the city’s airports, recent Harris County District Court records show.

Patti Gonzales is suing the City of Houston, the Houston Airport System, and George Bush Intercontinental Airport in the Harris County 61st District Court, claiming she slipped on a substance on the floor of the dining area at IAH on May 12, 2016.

Court documents filed on Mar. 8 fault the defendants for not placing wet floor signs nor maintaining the floors in a safe condition.

Consequently, Gonzales seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

She is represented by Sofia E. Bruera of the Bruera Law Firm, PLLC in Houston.
