Woman alleges she was terminated in retaliation by Robert Half International, Houston Methodist Hospital

Wrongful term 02

HOUSTON – A woman alleges she was terminated from her job after she reported unwanted sexual advances from a supervisor.

Linda Johnson filed a complaint on March 12 in the Harris County District Court against Robert Half International Inc. and Houston Methodist Hospital citing the Texas Commission on Human Rights Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff began her employment with the defendants in 2014 as an accounts payable specialist. She alleges she was subjected to unwanted sexual advances from a supervisor and made a formal written complaint with the hospital's human resources department in May 2016. The suit states on Aug. 15, 2016, she was terminated from her employment and replaced by an employee she previously trained.

The plaintiff holds Robert Half International Inc. and Houston Methodist Hospital responsible because the defendants allegedly retaliated against her and terminated her employment for engaging in protected activity.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of more than $1 million and such other just and proper relief. She is represented by Ahad Khan of Ahad Khan Law in Houston.
