HOUSTON – Claiming he was the victim of a bogus oil and gas investment scheme, Harris County resident David Baliko has filed a lawsuit.

Recent court documents filed on Mar. 15 in the Harris County 152nd District Court accuse Crudefunders, L.L.C.; Crutcher Exploration, L.L.C.; McCormick Operating, L.L.C.; Mike Barnes; and Alan Fine of fraudulently inducing Baliko into entering the venture in question.

The defendants allegedly “took all of the plaintiff’s money and refused to speak to him,” the original petition says.

Consequently, Baliko seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

He is represented by George B. Murr and Michael J. Yanochik of the law firm Murr Yanochik in Houston.
