Houston man alleges flour purchased at store caused injuries

HOUSTON – A Houston man alleges he was injured after he consumed flour purchased from a grocery store.

Nivram Jefferson filed a complaint on March 19 in the Harris County District Court against Kroger Texas LP alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 30, 2016, he was injured after ingesting Gold Medal Flour that he bought from defendant's grocery store. He alleges that the flour was contaminated and/or unwholesome. He alleges he suffered injuries that resulted in pain and mental anguish, loss of earnings and medical expenses. 

The plaintiff seeks monetary relief of less than $70,000, pre- and post-judgment interest and such other relief to which he may be entitled. He is represented by Christopher Bradshaw-Hull in Houston.
