HOUSTON – A Harris County woman alleges she was injured at an Uptown Park Boulevard, Houston location because of a broken piece of flooring.

Susan McGee-Mullins filed a complaint on March 19 in the Harris County District Court against Park Entertainment LTD and WKOS Inc., both doing business as Belvedere, alleging negligence and premises liability.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 18, 2016, she was injured at defendants' premises when she tripped on a broken, protruding piece of flooring. She alleges she suffered serious personal injuries, pain and suffering, lost wages, medical expenses and disability as a result of the fall.

The plaintiff holds Park Entertainment LTD and WKOS Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to inspect the flooring for any dangerous conditions and failed to provide warning of the existing danger.

The plaintiff seeks monetary relief of more than $200,000 but not more than $1 million and such other relief to which she is entitled. She is represented by Loren G. Klitsas and Jared W. Capps of Klitsas & Vercher PC in Houston.
