Slip01

HOUSTON – A shopper at a Houston grocery store alleges she was not warned of the condition of the floor before she fell on the premises.

Mireya Saturno filed a complaint on March 19 in the Harris County District Court against Rosara Investments LLC, doing business as El Ahorro Supermarket No. 3, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on April 1, 2016, she was injured when she slipped and fell while shopping at defendant's El Ahorro Supermarket No. 3 in Houston because of a dangerous condition on the floor. She alleges she suffered severe personal injuries, pain and suffering, medical expenses, physical impairment and lost wages.

The plaintiff holds Rosara Investments LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly negligently failed to clean up the spill and failed to warn of the condition of the floor.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of more than $200,000 but not more than $1 million and such other lawful and equitable relief. She is represented by John J. Kahn Jr. and Jennifer H. Kahn of The Kahn Law Firm PC in Pearland.
