HOUSTON – A Harris County woman accuses an auto dealership of retaliating against her for complaining about a hostile work environment.

Latonya Brooks filed a lawsuit against Beck and Masten Enterprises, Inc. on Mar. 21 in the Harris County 125th District Court, claiming she was mistreated by her former supervisor during the course of her employment.

The former sales associate explains that Anthony Morelli made racially offensive comments and favored her male counterparts.

According to the suit, Brooks pushed back only for work conditions to become “so intolerable.”

She was constructively discharged on Oct. 4, 2015.

Consequently, Brooks seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

Derrick G. Parker of the D.G. Parker Law Firm, PLLC in Houston is representing the complainant.
