Woman alleges DIG TPW failed to warn of slippery floor

Slip02

HOUSTON – A Fort Bend County woman alleges she was injured at a Houston building because of the condition of the lobby floor.

Magda El-Feky filed a complaint on March 27 in the Harris County District Court against DIG TPW LLC alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Feb. 18, she was injured while entering defendant's building when she slipped on granite flooring in the lobby. She alleges she suffered injuries to her neck and back that resulted in medical expenses, pain and suffering, disfigurement and loss of earning capacity.

The plaintiff holds DIG TPW LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to make the floor safe or warn plaintiff about the floor's condition.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of less than $75,000 and such other relief to which she may be entitled. She is represented by Stephen P. Small and John Arthur Daspit of Daspit Law Firm in Houston.
