HOUSTON – Alleging Berry Y&V Fabricators, LLC fired her for pushing back against sexual harassment, Houston resident Stefani Bambace has pursued legal action.

Bambace filed a lawsuit against her former employer on Apr. 25 in the Harris County 234th District Court, claiming her boss’s wife subjected her to the harassment in question.

The defendant reportedly employed the plaintiff as a personal assistant to Danielle Berry, the wife of company president Lawrence Berry, after hiring her in mid-November 2016.

Court documents explain that Bambace worked from the Berry home, where Danielle Berry subjected her to a “sexually charged and hostile work environment.”

According to Bambace, Danielle Berry once appeared nude in front of her and showed her pictures of an erotic nature.

The plaintiff recalls a few instances in which Danielle Berry told her stories about her sexual exploits, some of which purportedly involving other people.

Bambace says she brought to matter to the company’s attention to no avail as she was terminated on July 17, 2017 “because there was allegedly no longer a need for her position.”

Consequently, the complainant seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

She is represented by Todd Slobin and Ricardo J. Prieto of the law firm Shellist Lazarz Slobin LLP in Houston.
