HOUSTON – A Lafayette Parish, Louisiana resident alleges he was injured at a worksite when a pipe fell on him.

Leroy Rodriguez filed a complaint on May 2 in the Harris County District Court against Bos Solutions Inc., Sidewinder Drilling LLC and RSP Permian LLC alleging negligence and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Aug. 14, 2017, he suffered severe and disabling injuries at the defendant's worksite at Sidewinder Drilling Rig 127, when a large pipe fell from the drilling rig and struck him. He alleges he suffered severe and disabling injuries to his head, neck, back and other parts of his body.

The plaintiff holds Bos Solutions Inc., Sidewinder Drilling LLC and RSP Permian LLC responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to ensure equipment and/or fixtures were properly maintained and failed to maintain a safe work area.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks all damages, court costs, expert witness fees, deposition costs and attorney's fees. He is represented by Nicholas A. Morrow and Daniel E. Sheppard of Morrow & Sheppard LLP in Houston.
