HOUSTON – A Houston company alleges an individual failed to pay in full the balance for the purchase of thousands of dollars' worth of jewelry.

World's Gold & Diamonds Inc. filed a complaint on May 7 in the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas against Jose Ramon Valdivia Reyes, also known as Jose Ramon Valdivia, alleging breach of contract, unjust enrichment and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Jan. 13, 2011, the defendant signed a credit agreement to purchase jewelry. The plaintiff alleges the defendant unconditionally and irrevocably guaranteed payment of all obligations incurred but has failed to pay the remaining principal sum of $112,379.55 plus accrued interest.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment in the principal amount of $112,379.55, plus attorney’s fees in the amount of at least $30,000, and such other and further relief, both at law and in equity, that the court deems just and proper.
