HOUSTON – A Harris County woman alleges that she was discriminated and retaliated against by her employer.

Eustolia Darait Montelongo filed a complaint on May 4 in the Harris County District Court against Brock Services LLC citing the Texas Commission on Human Rights Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in March 2017, she was hired by defendant to install industrial insulation. The plaintiff alleges that during her employment, she was allegedly subjected to sexual harassment by her supervisor Juan Mata. She alleges she reported Mata's conduct and afterward, "the company began a systematic pattern of harassment and retaliation" against her.

She alleges she had no choice but to leave her employment as the harassment and retaliation became "unbearable."

The plaintiff holds Brock Services LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly discriminated against a female employee in a manner that would deprive or tend to deprive her of employment opportunity or adversely affect in any other manager her statues as an employee.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks actual, economic, compensatory, exemplary/punitive damages; pre- and post-judgment interest; attorneys' fees; expert witness fees; court costs; and all the relief deemed just. She is represented by Joshua A. Verde and Zachary P. Nye of The Verde Law Firm PLLC in Houston.
