Total Industrial Plant Services alleged to have defaulted on loan

Late 01

BEAUMONT – A Port Neches company is alleged to have failed to pay a loan.

Stanberry Energy Co. LLC filed a complaint on Feb. 20 in the Jefferson County District Court against Total Industrial Plant Services Inc. alleging breach of contract, fraud and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 10, 2015, it executed a memo of understanding contract with the defendant, who agreed to pay a loan amounting to $120,000 with interest at the rate of 6 percent for a period of 30 days.

The plaintiff holds Total Industrial Plant Services Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed and refused, and continues to fail and refuse, to pay the amounts due and owing.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment for the principal amount due with late charges and unpaid interest, pre- and post-judgment interest, attorneys' fees, exemplary damages, costs of court and such other and further relief to which may show justly entitled. It is represented by Mark A. Hendrix of Krage & Janvey LLP in Dallas.
